The Disney Animated Feature has been a staple in American pop-culture for over 70 years. From Snow White to Princess Tiana, 48 films thus far have either amazed us with it’s beautiful art direction and animation, entertained us with its wonderfully crafted story and characters or let us down with the films lack of effort, funds or simply what we’ve come to know as Disney Magic.
In 1937, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs premiered to thunderous applause. It was the start of what we now call the Golden Age of Disney animation. 5 films that most may consider to be the 5 greatest animated films of all-time (Snow White, Pinocchio, Fantasia, Dumbo and Bambi)
This is a full review of all 47 films (48 when the newest film opens in December). After each era I will review the era as a whole and tell you what I feel is the best and worst film of said era.
